How PartyRock Works for Educators
Project-Based Learning
Students can use PartyRock to develop their own AI applications across disciplines including entrepreneurship, humanities, design, STEM, and more. PartyRock challenges connect learners to real-world problems relevant to their curriculum and interests. Learners design AI flows where they experiment with models, prompts, and parameters, work with real datasets to showcase AI-informed critical thinking, and exercise product thinking by building a working application from concept through to a shareable result.

Session format:

Introduction - The facilitator introduces the challenge
Build - Learners work in parallel or in teams to create their solution
Showcase - Learners present what they built and discuss their approach

This structure works whether you have 30 minutes or 3 hours and requires no prior AI knowledge from the educator. A hands-on, creative introduction to AI literacy, ideal for project days, clubs, workshops, hackathons, and longer-term formats.
Interactive Classroom Game: “AI Everywhere”
For educators who want a guided, time-boxed format with no preparation needed, PartyRock offers one introductory classroom module.
“AI Everywhere” - A 45-minute hands-on session built for day one of an AI unit in a classroom. The interactive format allows a class to explore where AI shows up in their lives, find real examples of how it works in future careers they are interested in, then use their findings to share with classmates.

Session format:

Guided game - A facilitator leads the class through the module in 45 minutes
Team exploration - Students work in teams on their devices, exploring a profession via an AI chat
Reflection - Students build a quiz from their findings to demonstrate when to trust AI, and when not to

Note: This module is currently in beta. Additional modules are in development.
